Bio
Riccieri Paludo is an award-winning Brazilian composer, cellist, and producer blending concert music, technology, and the folk traditions of Brazil and South America. He is a Fulbright Scholar pursuing a PhD in Music Composition and Music Technology at the University of Utah.
He has scored a feature film, five short films including the award-winning Dear Rosa, and eight theatrical productions.
His dance scores have won first prizes at the Joinville Dance Festival and Passo de Arte, and his concert works have been presented at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival and Folk Alliance International. He also works in audio production and engineering.
A session cellist on over 50 commercial releases, he has performed with the Santa Catarina Symphonic Orchestra and received Santa Catarina’s State Cultural Merit Award.
